As noted by Mysteel Global, Chinese traders noted that their stocks of the five main steel products remained broadly stable from September 4-10, with total inventories falling just 3400 tons in a week, taking into account lower production. The actual demand also remains unchanged.
According to the latest Mysteel poll published on the same day, the total stocks of five steel products among traders surveyed by Mysteel in 132 Chinese cities fell sharply after three consecutive weeks to around 23 million tonnes as of September 10.
