Tata Steel has struck a deal with a union in the Netherlands to end the strike

Tata Steel reached an agreement with FNV Metaal over its Dutch assets, ending 25 days of industrial action. The previously announced reduction of 1,000 staff positions at Tata Steel IJmuiden has been canceled. The company has pledged that there will be no forced layoffs at the IJmuien branch until 2026 in an agreement reached with FNV

Tata Steel, which previously announced a reorganization that will result in thousands of layoffs, including the loss of thousands of full-time jobs at IJmuiden. This sparked riots at the steel company, and when the CEO of Tata Steel Nederland resigned in Holland in mid-May, the riots turned into weeks of protests.
