Metinvest-SMC, the sales network of Metinvest Group in Ukraine and the CIS countries, has launched an online store. Online sales are supported by a specially created contact center (0800-30-30-70), which also processes orders placed by phone. The technical support of the project was undertaken by the IT company Metinvest Digital.
How it all began
The pilot project was launched in August 2019. Since then, the store has been overgrown with functions: in May this year, an updated product catalog appeared on the site. Now you can buy online about 400 types of rolled metal. These are products that are in demand by retail consumers.
Who can buy the products
Both retail and wholesale buyers throughout Ukraine can buy metal products. At the service of consumers is a developed network of own metal centers of Metinvest-SMC, as well as sites of partners-distributors of rolled metal in different cities of the country.
How to order rolled metal
For the convenience of buyers, the products on the site are divided into four groups:
– long and shaped steel; – sheet metal; – rolled pipes; – rolled products.
It is easy to find the products you need in the store catalog. Information about each product contains the current price, metal class, dimensions, steel grade from which it is made, product compliance with Ukrainian and international quality standards, scope of application.
To buy rolled metal products, you just need to add the desired items to the basket and place an online purchase order. After that, the company manager will contact the buyer to clarify the details. The buyer only has to pay for the order in a convenient way for him, come to the metal warehouse and pick up the goods.
How many rolled products were sold online
More than 13,000 people visit the online store every month. Since the beginning of this year, about 3 thousand applications have been processed through the website and the contact center and more than 2,000 tons of rolled metal have been sold.
Online store to develop. Now, in a pilot mode, we have launched a personal account of the buyer, where you can track the status of the order and receive messages about its change. In addition, the ability to pay for a purchase with a bank card is already being tested.
