ThyssenKrupp finished the first financial quarter with revenues of 7.3 billion euros

The German industrial group ThyssenKrupp AG, the largest steel producer in the country, finished the first financial quarter (ended December 31) with revenues of 7.3 billion euros compared to 7.6 billion euros a year earlier (a decrease of 3, 9%).

The company said adjusted EBIT was € 78 million against a negative € 185 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2019/2020.

The company’s net loss decreased by 239 million euros, up to 125 million euros a year earlier.

Revenue of the European steel division of ThyssenKrupp in the first financial quarter increased by 7%, EBIT was 20 million euros, compared with negative 127 million euros a year earlier.
