NBU weakened the hryvnia by a penny against the dollar

The National Bank of Ukraine set the rate of 28 hryvnia 31 kopeck per dollar on October 1, this is 1 kopeck more than the official one course on the last day of September. The regulator did not have time to fully reflect the trends in the interbank foreign exchange market, where the national currency was strengthening throughout the afternoon of September 30. As of 16:25, according to Finance.ua, quotations fell to 28 hryvnia, 28-30 kopecks per dollar.

Back in mid-August, the dollar was valued on the interbank market for more than a hryvnia, on August 17, trading ended at 27 hryvnia 23.5-25.5 kopecks per unit of the American currency.
