Production in Asia (excluding China, mainly Japan, India and Taiwan) was approximately 6.43 million tonnes, 18.6% less than last year, while other regions (Brazil, Russia, South Africa , South Korea). and Indonesia) amounted to 5.86 million tons, an increase of 3% over the same period last year.
