According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the United States exported about 93,100 tons of flat products in June, which is 2.6% less than in the previous month, while an increase of 34.5% compared to the same period a year ago.
Among them, exports to Mexico amounted to about 51,500 tons, up 1.2% over the previous month and 91.1% over the same period last year. Other export destinations included Canada (about 38,100 tons) and Brazil (about 1,700 tons).
During the reporting period, the value of exports was about US $ 126 million, an increase of 3.8% on a monthly basis and an increase of 124.1% on an annualized basis.
