Steel exports from China fell by 10% in August

According to the latest data released by the Chinese customs, total steel exports in China in August this year amounted to about 5 million tons, down more than 10% month on month, but an increase of 37.3% year on year.

Among them, the main reason for the decline in exports was the domestic policy of restricting production.

In addition, the adjustment of export discounts also reduced the intention of steel producers to export their products.
