ArcelorMittal Brazil announced that its rolling mill No. 3 in João Monlevada, Minas Gerais, Brazil, will start operations in January 2022, driven by market demand and the outlook for economic growth.
The company has allocated about R $ 580 million for the construction of a new plant with a capacity of 1 million tons of long products per year. Production will progress gradually and in line with market demand.
This plant was built in 2015. The market is expected to start performing better.
