The official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar has weakened by 10 kopecks, according to the data of the National Bank of Ukraine on July 24. On Friday, the dollar is worth 27.87 hryvnia compared to 27.77 hryvnia on 23 July. The reference value, the National Bank set noon on July 24, is 27 hryvnia 73 kopecks.

Over the course of several trading sessions, the situation has stabilized, but after the appointment of Kirill Shevchenko as head of the NBU, the devaluation of the national currency accelerated.
