In the Ukrainian interbank foreign exchange market, the trend of recent weeks continues, which consists in a slow but constant depreciation of the hryvnia. On the last day of September, as of 13:00, quotes amounted to 28 hryvnia, 30.5-32 kopecks per dollar, according to data from Finance.ua. In the first hours of trading, the quotes were even higher, so the National Bank of Ukraine set a reference value of the rate of 28 hryvnia 32 kopecks per dollar, which is 2 kopecks higher than the official rate for today.
Back in mid-August, the dollar was valued on the interbank market for more than a hryvnia, on August 17, trading ended at 27 hryvnia 23.5-25.5 kopecks per unit of the American currency.
